Checkify.pro makes recovering abandoned checkouts simple and effective.
All the customers can use our built-in tool to re-engage their buyers at no extra charge and without any limits on the number of emails being sent. In addition to that, powerful third-party services can be connected through Checkify integrations, while own custom scripts can be published on the checkout and / or thank you pages by a merchant in order to expand the default functionality.
In this guide, we will focus on Checkify’s native feature aimed at recovering more sales and maximizing revenue. Please note that for abandoned checkout flows, we recommend using either our solution or a third-party service exclusively, to prevent duplicate recovery emails from different sources and ensure a better buyer experience.
1. Overview
The abandoned checkouts are accessible via admin > Orders section > Abandoned checkouts tab. They are presented in the table mode, with the newest (most recent) at the top.
The native recovery function is activated / deactivated just in one click, via the appropriate trigger (switch). It is disabled by default.
The buyer must enter contact details (email, phone number) on the checkout page, which Checkify.pro will capture. Then the incomplete checkout appears in the list.
If the checkout page remains abandoned for about 30-40 minutes and the email recovery feature is enabled, an automated email notification is sent to the address available.
Once the purchase is completed as a result of the Checkify native recovery email function, the incomplete order will disappear from the 'abandoned' table and appear under the 'Orders' tab. The appropriate sign will be shown next to the order obtained from a recovered checkout on this tab.
Example: Order 1301 was successfully recovered
