Maximize your store's revenue and average order value (AOV) by creating extra paid offers for your customers. You can provide checkout page upsell offers and products or simply entice your buyers to get advanced paid service from your store. Also, you can create a "Buy one and get one free" offer using the product filter.
Where to find
To begin, open Extra offers section in your Checkify admin panel. Select "Offers on Checkout page" tab.

You can include various offers at your discretion, like extended warranty, gift-wrapping, or adding a product for upselling.
Create an Extra Offer on the Checkout page
You can create up to 100 additional paid offers to choose from (only 1 offer for a lower-tier pricing plan). Note that you can not save multiple offers with identical titles.

Add taxes to this offer
You can add tax to the offer. If you need this, set the switch to active state. But first, you should enable taxes on the Customization tab.
The Offer image field is optional, but we recommend adding it to enhance the effect, trust and conversion. We recommend adding the direct link the to image in one of the popular image formats, ending, for example, .jpg (with no extra symbols like "&width" etc). Simply use some 'open' file storage, like Shopify's solution, to get the links to images accessible to all the users on the web with the link.

You can specify the need to preselect the additional (upsell) offer through the switch (trigger) Pre-select offer.
Set "Offer applies to"
Choose if you want the upsell to show every time on the checkout page, or when specific collection / products / variants are picked for purchasing. If you want to select specific collection, products or variants for the offer, you will see a pop-up from where you will be able to choose the items.
ATTENTION: Offer applies to specific products will not be shown in the Preview mode.

Once added, you will be able to edit the products.

Important: Extra Offers on the Checkout page will be added to the order’s total value.

Resolving common issues
🙀 I get "Shopify error!" message when trying to save the offer. What could be the problem?
There are two main reasons for that.
1. It can be caused by a missing permission.
Visit your Shopify admin, find the custom application (Checkify) and double-check the permissions. The permissions our app needs are listed under "List of all the permissions" title in this guide.
2. The same name for the offer is used multiple times. Please make the names unique.
🙀 I double-checked the permissions in Shopify. All is set correctly. What should I do?
Delete the offer for which you are receiving this error and create a new one. Please mind the name (title) for the offer: make them unique.
🙀 I see a new product created in my Shopify admin after I used your Extra Offer functionality. What should I do?
A new product is created to ensure this functionality works. The example is in the screenshot below:
Please do not edit any parameters there, otherwise correct and smooth work of this offer is not guaranteed.
